CBD Extracts
Endoca CBD extracts are the concentrate itself, applied straight from the syringe with no carrier oil diluting it. Available at 20%, 30% and 50% CBD, in raw CBD plus CBDa or heat-activated form, from organically grown hemp and independently tested every batch.
Not All CBD Extracts Are Created Equal
Concentration exposes everything. Dilute an extract into a 3% oil and small imperfections disappear into the carrier, but a 50% concentrate is mostly extract, so whatever came off the field is right there in the syringe. That is the reason we have never bought extract in from a broker. The hemp is grown on our own ground without pesticides or herbicides, and we know which harvest each syringe came from.
These are made with supercritical CO2 in our own facility, which matters more here than anywhere else in the range. Hydrocarbon extraction is cheaper and it is common in the concentrate market, but it leaves residual solvent that has to be purged afterwards, and purging is only ever as good as the person doing it. CO2 leaves nothing behind to remove. The raw extracts are never heated after that, so the CBDa the plant produced is still intact, which is why they are darker and thicker than the heated versions.
This collection is the strong end of the range and it is not the place to start. A single millilitre of the 50% extract contains more CBD than most people take in a fortnight, and it is dispensed by the graduation mark on a syringe rather than a dropper. What Are CBD Extracts
A CBD extract is what comes out of the hemp plant before anyone dilutes it. Everything else in the shop is built from this. An oil is extract blended into hemp seed oil, a capsule is extract sealed in a softgel, a gummy is extract folded into a confection. Sold on its own it arrives in a graduated syringe, because a paste this thick cannot be poured and a dropper would not move it.
Ours are made by pushing carbon dioxide through hemp at a pressure and temperature where it behaves as both a liquid and a gas, which pulls the cannabinoids and terpenes out together. Drop the pressure and the CO2 evaporates away, leaving the extract with no solvent to remove. The raw versions stop there. The heat-activated versions go through decarboxylation, which converts CBDa into CBD and lightens the colour and texture noticeably.
Strength is stated two ways on every syringe, and both numbers matter. The percentage tells you how concentrated the paste is, 20%, 30% or 50%. The milligram figure tells you the content per millilitre and per syringe, so a 10ml syringe of the 20% extract holds 2,000mg. Because the syringe is graduated, you dispense against a marking rather than counting drops, and a very small movement of the plunger is a large amount of CBD.
What Can CBD Extracts Be Used For?
Extracts are chosen by people who have already worked out what they take and want it without a carrier oil in the way. That is a smaller group than the rest of the shop, and the copy here is written for them rather than around them.
The five extracts differ in two ways only, concentration and whether they have been heated. Everything else, the hemp, the extraction and the testing, is identical.

What is a CBD extract?
It is the concentrate taken out of the hemp plant before it is diluted into anything else. Endoca extracts are supplied in a graduated syringe at 20%, 30% or 50% CBD. They are the same material that goes into our oils and capsules, without the carrier oil.
How is an extract different from CBD oil?
Concentration and format. An oil is extract blended into hemp seed oil so it pours and measures in drops. An extract is the paste on its own, dispensed from a syringe against a graduation mark. Same hemp, same extraction, very different amount per millilitre.
How do I use a CBD extract?
Most people dispense a small amount against the marking on the syringe and take it directly. It can also be stirred into food or a warm drink, which softens the taste considerably. The paste is thick at room temperature and moves more easily if the syringe is warmed in your hand first.
Why is the raw extract darker than the heated one?
Because nothing has been removed. Raw extract keeps the chlorophyll, plant waxes and CBDa that the decarboxylation step would otherwise change or drive off. The colour is a signal that it has been left alone, not a sign of impurity.
What does a CBD extract taste like?
Strong, bitter and unmistakably green. There is no carrier oil and no flavouring to soften it, which is the honest trade-off of buying the concentrate rather than the oil. Taking it with food helps.
What does supercritical mean in CO2 extraction?
Above a certain pressure and temperature, carbon dioxide stops behaving purely as a gas or a liquid and takes on properties of both. In that state it moves through plant material like a gas and dissolves compounds like a solvent. Release the pressure and it returns to gas, leaving the extract behind.
Why does solvent residue matter more in a concentrate?
Because concentration works on everything, not just the parts you want. A residue that would be a trace in a 3% oil is many times more present in a 50% paste. Using CO2 rather than a hydrocarbon means there is no residue to concentrate in the first place.
What is decarboxylation?
It is the reaction that converts CBDa into CBD, driven by heat and time. It happens slowly at room temperature and quickly under controlled heat. Our heat-activated extracts have been through it deliberately, the raw ones have not.
Why test the finished extract rather than the crop?
Hemp is a bioaccumulator and pulls metals and residues out of the soil. Concentrating the plant concentrates anything it absorbed, so a clean field is necessary but not sufficient. The certificate that matters is the one on the finished batch, and ours are published on the lab testing page.
Is a CBD concentrate the same as a cannabis dab?
No, and the search results for concentrates mix the two constantly. A dab is a high-THC cannabis concentrate made for vaporising. These are hemp extracts stating less than 0.2% THC, made to be taken orally. Same word, entirely different product.
How much THC is in an Endoca extract?
Less than 0.2%, the same threshold as the rest of the full spectrum range. Because the paste is concentrated, people reasonably ask whether the THC concentrates too. The percentage is measured on the finished extract, so the figure on the label is the figure in the syringe.
Can I vape or dab these extracts?
They are not made for it and we would not recommend it. The extract contains plant waxes and lipids that are fine to swallow and are not intended to be heated and inhaled. If inhaling is what you are after, this is not the right product.
Are hemp concentrates treated differently in law?
In most of the EU the rule follows THC content rather than format, so a hemp extract under the national threshold is regulated like the rest of the range. A handful of member states restrict CBD more tightly. Check your national rules before ordering.
How is the extract packaged for shipping?
In a sealed graduated syringe inside plain outer packaging with no branding or product description. The syringe format also survives transit better than glass, which is part of why the category uses it.
Does the extract need refrigerating?
No. Store it somewhere cool, dry and away from direct light. Cold makes the paste stiffer and harder to dispense, so a cupboard is better than a fridge.
