Two products carrying cannabinol beside cannabidiol, one a chew and one an oil. CBN is the compound this industry mentions most often and explains least, so this page spends as much time on what it is as on what we sell.
CBN has become the compound every brand wants printed on a pack, and the distance between how confidently it is sold and how little is actually known about it is the widest anywhere in this category. Starting there seems better than pretending otherwise. What we can stand behind is the content of these two products, checked per batch by an independent laboratory, with cannabinol given its own line rather than absorbed into a total.
Per-compound reporting matters more here than almost anywhere else in the shop. Something sold for its CBN content and tested only for cannabinoids in aggregate has told you precisely nothing. Ask any seller for a certificate showing cannabinol specifically, and take a reluctance to produce one as an answer to a different question. Ours carry batch numbers and sit on the lab testing page.
Two products is a short collection and padding it would defeat the purpose. Night Gummies pair cannabidiol with CBN in a blackcurrant chew with no added sugar. The oil, Natural Melatonin, holds CBN and CBG together. Both products come off the same crop and the same extraction as the rest of the range. Anyone wanting more choice than two will find the evening collection broader, and several of its sets contain these products anyway.
Organically grown hemp without unnecessary pesticides
Cannabinol given its own figure on every batch certificate
Produced in GMP-certified facilities with rigorous quality control
CBN and CBG Beside Cannabidiol
Fast and Discreet
Both products, compared by the cannabinoids each carries, the format, who each suits and what else is inside.
| PRODUCT | CANNABINOIDS | FORMAT | BEST FOR | ALSO INSIDE |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Night Gummies | Cannabidiol with CBN, broad spectrum | 30 gummies, blackcurrant | A chew rather than drops | No added sugar or preservatives |
| Natural Melatonin (CBN CBG) | Cannabidiol with CBN and CBG | Oil, 10ml dropper bottle | Setting the quantity yourself | Terpenes, plus the omegas the carrier oil brings |
Cannabinol is a cannabinoid hemp does not build directly. It appears as tetrahydrocannabinol oxidises and degrades, so its level rises in plant material left exposed to air and light. Older hemp carries more. That single fact accounts for most of what is strange about this category, including why producing a CBN product is a manufacturing choice rather than a matter of which field it came from.
It is a minor cannabinoid in the strict sense, occurring in small quantities next to cannabidiol, so getting a meaningful amount into a product takes either careful sourcing or deliberate conversion. That is why these products cost what they do, and why a great many packs claiming CBN content hold very little of it. A certificate naming cannabinol on its own line is the only way to find out which sort you have bought.
What CBN does in a person is where being honest costs a brand money, and we are going to pay it. The research is limited and mostly preclinical. The strong popular link between cannabinol and bedtime is not matched by the evidence, and appears to have grown from early work whose conclusions have since been questioned. CBN sits in our evening products because that is where this industry puts it and where customers go looking for it. There is no better reason and we do not have one.
With two products the decision is genuinely simple, and it turns on format rather than on anything about the cannabinoids inside them.
Nothing below tells you what CBN does. No seller in Britain may say so, and in this instance the research would not carry the statement even if the rules permitted it.
For a wider choice at that end of the day, the evening collection holds these two alongside the sets assembled around them.
Cannabinol, a minor cannabinoid formed as THC oxidises and degrades rather than produced by the plant itself. It occurs naturally in aged hemp material, which makes isolating a useful quantity a production problem rather than a farming one.
The figure appears on each product page and, more usefully, on the batch certificate where cannabinol gets its own line. A product sold on its CBN content that publishes only a total cannabinoid figure is withholding the number you are paying for.
The chew if you want one fixed thing and no measuring. The oil if you want to set the quantity, and it is also the only one here carrying CBG as well.
Different compounds entirely. Cannabidiol is made by the plant. Cannabinol forms from THC breaking down over time. They appear together here because both arrive in the same extract.
Because those are the two carrying meaningful cannabinol content. A short collection is better than one padded with products that mention CBN in passing.
From THC that has oxidised, whether through the natural ageing of plant material or through a controlled process encouraging the same conversion. Both roads arrive at the same molecule.
No. It forms from THC without being THC, and it is not present here at any level that would raise the question in the first place.
Less than the marketing suggests. Most of the work is preclinical, the human studies are few and small, and the association with bedtime that drives this whole category rests on a thinner foundation than buyers generally assume. Worth knowing before comparing prices.
Cannabigerol, the precursor from which the plant assembles most other cannabinoids. Mature hemp holds very little, and what it does in a person is another open question rather than a settled one.
Cannabidiol products sit under the novel food position with no authorisation granted in Great Britain, and a product containing CBN is a cannabidiol product for that purpose. The separate exempt product route counts controlled cannabinoids per container, which is a certificate question rather than something a page can settle.
Being broad spectrum, the gummies carry less risk than a full spectrum product would. What a screen hunts for is THC metabolites, and cannabinol is not one of them. No product can be guaranteed against every threshold, and our drug test article sets out what a screen measures.
Rules on individual cannabinoids differ a great deal between countries and several handle minor cannabinoids separately from cannabidiol. Check the position before ordering to an address outside the UK.
Ask a doctor before starting, which holds for any supplement and holds more firmly for a compound whose research base is still this thin.
Thirty gummies in the jar and 10ml in the bottle. Serving sizes are on the labels, and how long either lasts depends on a routine we are not going to prescribe.
Yes, and both also sit inside the evening sets, which are priced below the total of their components. Wanting both usually makes the set the cheaper option.
Somewhere cool and dry, out of the light, lid closed. Light and air are what produce cannabinol in the first place, which makes storage unusually relevant to a product bought for its CBN content.
Yes, with the repeat saving, and the interval is yours. Evening products are the most commonly scheduled part of the range.
