It means no heat after supercritical CO2 extraction. Not brief heat. Not heat during one stage. The CBDa the plant made is still in the bottle, and so are the chlorophyll and the plant waxes, which is precisely why these products are darker and heavier than the heated ones. That colour is information rather than a fault.\r\n\r\nSince we grow the crop and run the extraction ourselves, we know which harvest a batch came from and what happened to it in between. On a product defined by what was not done to it, that chain matters more than it would on something refined. There is laboratory work suggesting the two are not interchangeable and there is not yet the human evidence that would let anybody explain what follows from that. We make RAW products because they are closer to the plant as it grew and because customers want them. Anyone offering a firmer reason is going past what has been
