The increase of the hemp oil industry
Hemp oil industry is increasing and hemp oil has really been under the microscope as of late with the arrival of the cannabinoid CBD and medical hemp oil. This cannabinoid has flipped the cannabis world upside down as government agencies are now scrambling to create new laws on what they thought was a plant with little to no active cannabinoids. It wasn’t until a few years ago that companies started taking tons of these plants to get extracted pure hemp oil high in CBD.
Known as medicinal hemp oil, these oils are being widely regarded as hemp oil medicine because of the CBD content. CBD may have turned the medicinal cannabis industry upside down but concentrated hemp oil has been used for decades as a food. Essential hemp oils have been and still are used for a wide variety of products. Hemp oil products range from lotions, soaps, and balms, to using the organic hemp oil itself as a finishing oil in cooking. Now I say organic because when using 100% real hemp oil as opposed to mixed or blended hemp oil you should always buy organic. These blended oils can also be organic but can make the claim if only one of the several oils are organic. The best hemp oil products are those that have all of their certifications on the packaging. Most of these oils have very low amounts of active cannabinoids and are used primarily as an excellent protein source and they are full of essential omegas. This is primarily because most hemp oils are extracted from the seeds.
Hemp oil production has sky rocketed over the past ten years. Canada and Australia have seen a steady increase in hemp oil extraction and have shown no signs of slowing down. In Canada, a majority of the hemp oil extract is being used for technical products such as oil based paints and cleaning solvents. The United States have also allowed the growth of hemp plants and we should see production of US grown hemp oil coming within the next few years. Some companies grow hemp and use the oil exclusive for biodiesel. This new natural fuel is showing a lot of promise and may be the affordable solution to the harsh expensive crude oil industry. Another major industry hemp oil has found a home in is the organic food industry. From the local health food store to big box giants like wholefoods, hemp oil is everywhere. Walking into wholefoods its hard to find an aisle that does not have a product that is highlighted by the protein packed, omega rich, hemp oil.

So where can I find hemp oil? Where can I purchase hemp oil?
If you are planning on mixing some into tonight’s dinner then you can simple order hemp oil online. Now where to find hemp oil for more of an industrial purpose can be a little trickier. Most companies that are selling bulk oils have exclusive contracts with companies creating a wide variety of different product lines. Companies that do have available oils may be cautious to just ship due to the countries specific import laws. With people becoming aware of the health benefits of hemp, and companies continuing to stop at nothing to find a cleaner more sustainable fuel source, it’s safe to say hemp oil is here to stay. What makes things more exciting is that this may be the crop America has been looking for to take our economy out of the drought we have been in for the past several years.
