Does CBD Make you Drowsy?
Well, this one is up for debate.
CBD is thought to be effective in helping with the symptoms of insomnia and sleep disorders, However, everyone does react differently to its effects and it may depend on whether you use the raw or decarboxylated versions of CBD.
Some people say the the de-carb version helps them sleep more that the raw version, which has been reported to help keep you more alert, but then again some others say it has the opposite effect.
Using CBD for sleep could be effective in helping ease your feelings of anxiety and stress.
CBD works by creating homeostasis in the body (balance). Instead of helping relieve sleep disorder symptoms, CBD has the potential to help the root cause of the sleep issue.
Most sleep disorders can be attributed to stress, depression, pain and anxiety.
CBD has to potential to help with all of these symptoms, by creating balance in your endocannabinoid system and its analgesic effects. Studies show that CBD has the ability to interact with your CB1 and CB2 receptors, helping improve cognitive functions and brain responses.
Does CBD Work for Pain and Sleep?
If you are finding it a challenge to get off to sleep, it could also mean you are a chronic pain sufferer too, CBD does have the potential to fight pain as it has an analgesic effect when it interacts with your endocannabinoid system. But, everyone's pain symptoms may vary in strength and intensity, so the effects felt may also too.

What is the Right CBD Dosage for Sleep?
There are no hard and fast rules when it comes to taking CBD for sleep. Everyone reacts to it differently, and depending on your symptoms, the strength you will need will also vary. We recommend that you try the up-titration method, and start low and go slow. You may also notice from our Trustpilot reviews that the methods of taking CBD for sleep may also vary too.
Some prefer the oil drops that work quickly, when taken sublingually, but can have a strong taste. And others prefer the capsules that have no taste but may take longer for the effects to be felt. For customers who experience more severe pain symptoms, higher strength extracts are often preferred.
