We recently invited you all to share your CBD journey with us, and were absolutely overwhelmed by the incredible responses and responsiveness of the wonderful members of our community. More of you than ever felt inspired to share, offering not only to convey your hardest moments, but also your proudest triumphs. Your show of community compelled us to acknowledge the wonderful sense of openness we felt on receiving all your stories.
One member of our Endoca community, Michele, contacted us, deeply moved to share her personal encounter with not only physical illness, but the emotional and psychological impact of ill health in the hopes of helping others still searching for options. Her learning throughout has been deep and widespread, ultimately focussing on natural ways to heal the body.
In this open letter, Michele speaks plainly on what has worked for her. Her cultivated opinions are her own and are not the opinions expressly shared by Endoca. Endoca firmly believes in consulting a healthcare professional before embarking on any wellness journey. This is Michele’s own incredible journey, in her own words.
I feel compelled to share my appreciation for CBD oil, which has become a powerful component in my process as I journey towards healing naturally from cancer.
Knowing that there has been controversy around cannabis, my experience shows me that this ancient medicine can be a tremendous boon to those with and without health challenges and that there is no reason to fear its effects.
Several years ago I had an operation to remove a tumor in the colon. Afterwards I was told it was encapsulated and no problems remained. A few years later however, other symptoms arose and I had a few more operations. The original cancer had metastasized, but I was determined to disregard recommendations to undergo chemotherapy and radiation, knowing that they would break down the immune system I'd spent my whole life strengthening. My doctors had to accept that I would be taking matters into my own hands, except if a surgery was necessary, and of course regarding checkups to monitor my levels.
Throughout my life I have always been aware of the power of food as medicine. I was raised to eat well and as a dancer who now teaches a healing fitness technique, I made a lifetime commitment to honor the power of my body by treating it with the utmost respect. Once I was made aware that the cancer cells in my body were sticking around, I began researching natural alternatives towards remission.
My research showed me that there are many, many protocols that support healing, including radical remissions that defy theories posited by those whom I call the (allopathic) ‘White Coats’. I began with the Budwig Protocol, but found that cottage cheese or quark was just not my cup of tea. Then I found the wonderfully informative website, Cancer Tutor, and this was the opening towards an exciting adventure of discovery that ratified everything I believe in in terms of the body's ability to cure itself. Chris Wark's “Chris Beat Cancer” and Anthony William, the Medical Medium, were other breakthroughs for me in terms of knowledge and the common sense of diet. Creating a powerfully alkaline environment in my body has been key, with loads of fresh fruits and vegetables, smoothies and veggie drinks, healing herbs, and lots of exercise, which has been part of my life forever.
I also began taking specific homeopathic medicine for the cancer, along with high grade Curcumin (turmeric), black seed oil, digestive enzymes, probiotics, Vitamin C mixed with baking soda, as well as Reishi, Chaga, Corcyceps Sinensis and Coriolus mushrooms, plus spirulina, and barley grass.
All along the way I have been making new discoveries. I worked with an Ayurvedic doctor for a while, with full two months eating Kitchari (an Indian dish usually made up from a mix of two grains and is used in Ayurveda for full body cleansing) and taking Ayurvedic formulas to balance and regulate my body functions.
At one point early on, I visited a Medical Cannabis fair in Berlin where I was immediately attracted to the Endoca booth. Here there were very knowledgeable people who instructed me about the value of hemp and CBD oil. I felt that this was something that was necessary for my process and was relieved when I learned that I didn't have to be high as I experienced the benefits. I ordered my first bottle of 3% CBD oil and began taking it as directed, with increases in dose along the way. I cannot say that I felt a sudden change, but throughout time I intuitively felt that on a very deep level this was key to my healing process. My next order was the heated hemp oil and now I am taking the highest percentage Raw Hemp Oil, several drops three times a day.
My body tells me that the quality of Endoca's products is also responsible for CBD oil providing so much value in the healing process. I noticed this especially when I was recently in the hospital for a very complicated operation.
Taking the oil every day, I was able to handle all of the invasive events with much more equanimity than I would have done without. I felt a certain kind of power deep beneath the layers of pain and anxiety that came with the procedure. It was not only a sense of inner balance and healing, but a certainty that my own path is the right one: the one that relies on nature's bounty and not chemicals or protocols that invade without discernment for the power of the immune system.
While in my hospital bed I had three different roommates, also undergoing surgery for cancer. One was deep in chemo and suffering from its side effects. With each of these people, I spoke about my belief in natural care, with emphasis on CBD as a medicine that can not only help deal with cancer cells, but can bring an inner balance and calm to the body, which is paramount for the healing process. They all took photos of my Endoca bottle and said that they too would order the products! I felt like my mission to communicate my path in order to help others was definitely successful!
I believe that nature cures all. I am absolutely certain that if you follow a diet that is more alkaline than acidic, avoiding all sugar, fried foods, wheat, and dairy; if you take supplements that support the natural healing abilities of the body; if you exercise daily (including rebounding, which is an excellent way to maintain a good lymphatic system); if you lower your stress levels; and if you choose love and joy as your path, you will heal.
This way of living is not just for those of us with cancer. It is for everyone. As I experiment with different protocols, from Ayurveda to homeopathy and herbalism, my body becomes more and more intuitive, deciding what is right for each time as I progress and change... as we do all the time. I am certain also that high quality CBD oil is fundamental for any health condition, as it delivers a beautiful internal balance, both for body and mind.
It is with the belief in the innate ability of the body to cure itself that I created my healing fitness technique, Body Activation, a holistic-based system of exercises that emphasize the link between body, mind, and spirit. Through a dedicated awareness of physicality and nutrition, we are much better equipped to maintain overall health and wellness.
Diagnosed with last stage cancer, I am a picture of health, going about my business teaching, traveling, living, and loving. I recovered very quickly from my surgery and feel vital, healthy, and filled with the knowledge that I will continue to challenge the ‘White Coats’ and anyone doubting that we have the power to heal ourselves. I go for regular checkups of course, and each time leaving the ‘White Coats’ astonished by my continuing ability to overcome and thrive.
