Yoga and CBD have a lot in common. Both bring about balance: yoga through a series of postures, breath work and meditation and CBD through its direct impact on the endocannabinoid system that is hardwired to create homeostasis and equilibrium throughout the body.
Indeed, some of the feelings of wellbeing felt during yoga are a direct result of the endocannabinoid system producing its own feel good neurotransmitter, Anandamide. So either way you look at it, they are indelibly linked.
We at Endoca know from personal experience how combining CBD with a yoga can deepen one’s practice, but we wanted to get other experienced yogis to give us their unbiased feedback.
So from the 21st-25th July we set up camp at the Barcelona Yoga Conference, one of the largest yoga gatherings in Europe. With a raft of 60 international teachers, 20 yoga styles and over 800 participants coming from all five continents, it was the perfect place to test out our products and hear what other yoga practitioners and teachers really thought about CBD.
We offered attendees the chance to take a few drops of CBD oil before their class, asking them to come back and report on their findings. Over all, we were thrilled with the comments and we think if you do yoga, you will be very interested too.
