CBD infused food certainly isn’t a new concept. However, when it comes from our favorite CBD edibles patisserie Organic Livity, we can’t help but be overwhelmed by their output. Using CBD oil for food (and making it delectable and delightful) is no easy thing, but this CBD oil masterpiece of decadence is simple and will satisfy in more ways than one.
This next CBD oil recipe is a luxurious mix of healthy fats and sumptuous spices that’ll help energize and arouse the senses…
While we all know by now that chocolate is one of the most talked about aphrodisiacs, avocados are also a rare and impactful gem, jam-packed with libido inducing vitamin B6. The healthy fat and energy content in avocados are also the perfect energy-boosting ingredient, to help kick you into gear.
And, yes, it is vegan, gluten-free and enhanced with CBD oil to ensure you’ll be humming with delight.
Aphrodisiac Avocado & Chocolate Fondant Recipe
A selection of our products
- 1 ½ cups of buckwheat flour
- 1 ½ cups of gluten-free flour mix
- 1 ½ cups of coconut sugar, or any unrefined sugar of your choice
- 1 cup of vegan butter, melted
- 1 cup of cacao powder
- 1 large avocado, mashed
- ½ cup molasses
- 1 ½ cups of coconut cream
- 1 cup of vegan milk—we used coconut but you can use any non-dairy milk of your choice
- 1 cup of applesauce
- 1 cup of vegan white chocolate pieces
- 1 tsp nutmeg, ground
- 1 tbsp cinnamon, ground
- 30 drops Endoca 300mg heated CBD oil
In a large bowl, mix all the dry ingredients—flours, sugar, cacao powder, nutmeg, cinnamon. Add the melted butter, mashed avocado, molasses, coconut cream, applesauce, and milk.
Mix well until combined and smooth. Now in a small saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to simmer on medium heat. Place a heat-resistant bowl on top (to create a bain-marie) and add the vegan white chocolate. Stir the chocolate until partially melted (we are looking for a smooth consistency but not runny, which should only take 2-3mins).
Take the heat-resistant mixing bowl off the saucepan and add the CBD oil. Mix well then set aside to cool down. Once done, pour a bit of cake batter into individual ramequins (don't forget to spray with oil so the cakes don't stick) then using a teaspoon place a bit of the partially melted white chocolate in the center, then cover with more cake batter. Do not put too much batter (fill up 3/4 of the ramequin capacity) as the cake will rise a bit during cooking.
Bake at 180 degrees F for 15-20 minutes. These decadent bites are perfect when the surface is no longer sticky to the touch. Remove your creations from oven and allow to cool down for 2 mins then serve on a plate.
For the most luxurious outcome, bake just before serving to your lover(s). For a "moelleux" au chocolat consistency, bake in advance; still as good as the fondant, just a little different.
